October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the community is encouraged to help Skin & Hair Wellness Center and Spa promote cancer awareness throughout the month.

Vitamin D may slow breast cancer progression 
High levels of vitamin D may help slow the progression of breast cancer, researchers suggested Tuesday. A small study of women with the illness found that patients with early breast cancer had higher levels of the vitamin than those with more advanced disease.
